So it has been almost 2 months since my last meal planning post- now that school is starting for Alden, soccer begins, my semesters are beginning and schedules are sure to be hectic, I am getting back on meal plan routine. Honestly, for my sanity in mind mostly!
Week of 8/23
Sunday: Breakfast for dinner!
A fun treat for the night before Kindergarten. We are making banana waffles with berries, bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs.
Monday: Shredded buffalo chicken salads
Quick and easy chicken breast in the crock with buffalo sauce and a salad with lots of fresh farm veggies. This is quick and easy for me to bring along to work in the evening (since both my semesters open today), and easy for Aaron to throw together while I am gone.
Tuesday: Tacos
It has been a while since we had a regular ol’ Taco Tuesday
Wednesday: Apple cider chicken breast with bacon fig jam and sauteed green beans and almonds
I started back up a few Home Chef meals, knowing this week would be a busy one with so much happening! I have to work tonight, and Alden has his first soccer practice. I will make this during the day so it can be reheated and eaten whenever everyone has a moment. I still added the veggies to the shopping list- so you could figure out what to get should you decide to make something similar.
Thursday: Chicken Teriyaki and Veggie Noodles
Marinated chicken (grilled or sauteed), veggies of your liking (I will use fresh zucchini, squash, peppers and onion) and make some noodles (rice, ramen, whatever) with some teriyaki and cashews or sesame seeds!
Friday: Please god let’s get some take out after a long week!
